EditCOMMUNITY RULES
The Community Rules have been established for the Common Areas of Tatum Village and are intended to foster an environment of neighborliness, consideration and cooperation within the Community. All owners, residents and their guests are required
to follow these Community Rules as a means of acting on behalf of the greater good of the Community and its well being.
EditBASKETBALL/RAMADA AREA
The basketball area may not be used after 10:00 PM The facilities are for the use of the residents of the community and their guests only Residents and their guests using the basketball area shall do so at their own risk, responsibility and liability.
The barbecues should be shared. No littering is allowed. Owners are responsible for the removal of all items brought to the area and insuring that their litter and debris is placed in the trash receptacles prior to leaving the area.
EditPOOL AND SPA AREA
The pool and spa area is accessible between the hours of 6:00 AM and 10.00 PM. The pool and spa area is CLOSED between the hours of 10:OO PM and 6:00 AM. The facilities are reserved for residents of the community and their guests only.
Children under fourteen (14) years of age must be accompanied by an adult eighteen (18) years of age or older. No lifeguard is on duty. Residents and their guests using the facilities shall do so at their own risk, responsibility and liability.
- Proper swim attire must be worn in the pool or spa. No cutoff pants are permitted.
- Residents should shower before using the pool and spa. Persons wearing bandages or having open wounds, cuts or rashes are not allowed in the pool or the spa. Anyone having a skin disease sore or inflamed eyes, nasal or ear discharge or any communicable disease may not use the pool or spa.
- Infants or young children must wear snug fitting swim pants. Swimming in diapers is strictly prohibited. It is necessary that parents abide by these rules to avoid health hazards and to insure continuous accessibility to the pool area.
- Bicycles, skateboards. roller blades, roller skates and scooters are not allowed in the pool and spa area.
- No pets of any kind are permitted in the area.
- Please use caution when swimming with hair clips or hairpins to insure they are secured and do not fall out in the pool or spa.
- No glass objects are allowed in the area. Only plastic or suitable nonbreakable containers are allowed in the area.
- The Association does not assume responsibility for the safety or acts of any person in the pool, spa or in the fenced area Adults are responsible for the safety of children in their care, as well as their guests.
- Climbing the pool fence is strictly prohibited.
- Running, excessive noise, loud music, splashing, pushing, shoulder riding, dunking or roughhousing in the pool or on the deck area is not allowed.
- Beach balls, floating or inflatable devices, except for floating devices which are worn on the body, are discouraged. Styrofoam articles are not permitted. No surfboards, boogie boards or other large objects of this nature will be permitted in the pool.
- Playing with the pool safety equipment is not allowed. Safety equipment has been provided for emergency use only.
- The barbecues should be shared. No littering in the pool area is allowed. Owners are responsible for the removal of all items brought to the area and insuring that their litter and debris is placed in the trash receptacles prior to leaving the area.
- All gates must be closed and latched at all times. Never allow the gate to be propped open. Special care should be taken to assure compliance with this rule as it is for the safety of small children.
- The use of the pool and spa is expressly limited to residents and their guests. Residents must accompany their guests at all times when using the facilities,
- The Association reserves the right to limit, on a reasonable basis, the number of guests using the facilities at any given time Individuals or groups must not occupy the area to the effective exclusion of others.
- No alcoholic beverages are allowed inside the fenced area, Intoxication is prohibited.
- Elderly persons, pregnant women, infants and those with health conditions requiring medical care should consult physician before entering the spa.
- Exercising in the spa is prohibited.
- Use of the spa should be restricted to fifteen (15) minute sessions to avoid drowsiness and it is recommended that the spa not be used if any alcoholic beverages have been consumed by the user.
- No one under the age of fourteen (14) is allowed to use the spa.
- Anyone not abiding by the posted rules may be asked leave the area by any member of the Association.
EditVEHICLES AND PARKING RESTRICTIONS
All Vehicles shall be parked in the garage, except that Family Vehicles may be parked on the driveway of a Lot if the garage is already then occupied by the maximum capacity of Vehicles. In no event may an Owner or Resident use the garage for storage in such a manner that would block or impede the parking of any Vehicle.
Family Vehicle means any domestic or foreign car, station wagon, sport wagon, pick-up truck of one (1) ton or less capacity with camper shells not exceeding seven feet (7') in
height measured from ground level, mini-van, jeep, sport utility vehicle, motorcycle and similar non-commercial and non-recreational vehicles that are used by a Resident for family and domestic purposes and which are used on a regular and recurring basis for basic transportation.
Commercial Vehicle means truck (other than a Family Vehicle truck), mobile home, bus, travel trailer, tent trailer, trailer, camper shell, detached camper, recreational vehicle, boat, boat trailer, or other similar equipment or vehicle.
No Commercial Vehicles may be parked, maintained, constructed, reconstructed or repaired on any Lot or Common Area, including driveways, Public Yards, Common Area
Private Drives providing access to the rear Lot situated garages or Private Accessway providing main access to the front of the home so as to be Visible from Neighboring Property except for the temporary parking of any Commercial Vehicle on a Lot, Private
Drive, or Private Accessway for loading and unloading for a period of not more than twenty-four (24) consecutive hours. Commercial Vehicles shall be parked completely within the enclosed garage.
No Vehicle may be parked at any time on a Private Drive providing access to the rear Lot situated garages. Guests may temporarily park a Family Vehicle on the Private Accessway providing main access to the front of the home for a period not to exceed eight (8) consecutive hours.
Vehicles parked in violation of the Vehicle and Parking Restrictions may be towed or "booted" with an immobilization device at the sole cost and expense of the owner of the Vehicle.
