BOARD OF DIRECTORS ANNUAL MEETING MINUTES
MONDAY, AUGUST 25,2008
6:30 PM AT THE DESERT RIDGE FIRE STATION

Board Members Present: Jodi Fialkin

Board Members Absent: Herschel Fink

Management Present: Mike Miller, Community Manager

Guests Present: Jason Miller, Attorney, Carpenter Hazelwood

I. Call to Order
Jodi Fialkin called the meeting to order at 6:45 PM.

II. Certification of Quorum
Mike Miller certifies Certification of Quorum.

A. Results of Quorum
More than 10% (15) of votes were received as per CC&R's.

III. Affidavit of Meeting Notice
Signed by Mike Miller, Community Manager.

IV. Owners Forum
Homeowner submitted a Demand Letter requesting to halt the meeting due to homeowners being told at the last Board of Directors meeting that there was only one (1) available position when, in actuality there should be three (3). Per Jason Miller, Attorney with Carpenter Hazelwood, because there were NO candidate volunteer;, it is his opinion that only the ballot was to be changed, and the corrected ballot was sent out. This was duly noted, but the meeting will continue.

VII. Approval of 2007 Annual Meeting Minutes

VIII. Presidents/Community Overview
Newsletter will bring everyone up to date on all Community information.
The Architectural Committee will meet the first Monday of each month.
The Block Watch Committee is helping the trespassing situation. The police have been asked to put in extra time patrolling the Community.

IX. Treasurer's/Financial Report
Herschel not here to give the report. Report went over by Jodi Fialkin.
Concerns of 2/3 of the budget has already been used and Jodi will look into.
AAM & R&G numbers need to be reviewed.
Legal fees increased due to more collections than anticipated.
Electric bill was to be paid by DR Horton, AAM paid, and Jodi working on collecting this amount back.
Emergency vehicles must turn key back for gates to remain in working order. Otherwise they will remain open.
Gate locks have been fixed.
Asset Landscaping is trying to work with the Community.
