A few days ago, I absent-mindedly left our gate open after feeding our dog. I left for work and forgot to close the gate. Our dog got out and started to roam the neighborhood. Luckily, one of the neighborhood kids who has occasionally walked our dog, saw him running loose in the park and brought him back to our yard. Another neighbor called us to let us know what had happened and that our dog was safe. I think our experience shows what a great place Tatum Village is to live. Tatum Village is such a close and friendly community that our neighbors knew our dog, knew he was friendly and were even comfortable and caring enough to bring him back to our house. Amazingly, these kinds of experiences are the norm in Tatum Village, where neighbors know each other and care.
